There has been a surprise with FIFA 21 update 15 with unexpected changes in CONMEBOL Libertadores and Sudamericana, but problems have also been addressed in Ultimate Team and career mode.
Since the update has gone a bit under the radar, let’s give you a brief overview of what has actually been included, and what changes you are going to see in FIFA 21 the next time you launch the game.
This update to FIFA 21 has modified the competitions to resemble the real world. The structure has been reworked in career mode and in tournaments. For example, this update has added clubs that have qualified for the group stages of CONMEBOL Libertadores and Sudamericana 2021. They have also updated the list of those that are already in competition.
Less importantly, they also updated Kits, player portraits, badges, announcements, introductions, and interview backgrounds.
In general they aggregate:
- The CONMEBOL Libertadores classification in Career and Tournaments mode has been updated.
- The CONMEBOL Libertadores and Sudamericana competition structure for Career mode has been updated.
- Clubs that qualified for the 2021 CONMEBOL Libertadores and Sudamericana group stages were added where applicable and existing club rosters were updated.
- Updated some player portraits, kits, badges, bulletin boards, broadcast and presentation packs, and interview backgrounds.
Also, It include fixes in career mode and FIFA Ultimate Team that include fixes to issues with co-op game lobbies displaying incorrect placeholder kits or leaderboards not displaying correctly.
