What Are UEFA Primetime Heroes?
FC 26 Primetime Heroes introduces the campaign Heroes to the game for the first time. These dynamic Hero Items celebrate some of the greatest performers in European competition history. You will see some old legends known for their exceptional performance.
Crucially, these special items will upgrade alongside the real-world performances of their given teams. Fans can expect greats like Salgado and Daniele De Rossi in FC 26.
The New UEFA Primetime Hero Lineup

Three legends have been inducted as new UEFA Primetime Heroes:

| Míchel Salgado | (88) | Salgado is best known by his title ‘II Due’. This aggressive Spanish full-back is incredibly effective in his position. Players know him for his four league titles, cementing him as one of the best. Moreover, he also holds the UEFA Champions League double with Real Madrid. |
| Simone Laudehr | (89 CM) | Laudehr is also known for earning over 100 caps during her career. She is one of the few German athletes who were able to lift the Euro Trophy. This happened back in 2009. This cemented her as one of the best. Moreover, she was also able to get the Bundesliga title. This happened during her time in FC Bayern. |

FC 26 Dynamic Upgrades for all Primetime Player Items are driven by real-world, on-pitch performances. These upgrades are dictated by game-defining contributions. So, performance in FC 26 Champions League can affect your player ratings.
Upgrade Paths for All Leagues
FC 26 has centralized the upgrade paths for all leagues, making it easier for players to upgrade. These paths apply to the UCL and UEL. Moreover, players looking to get upgrades in the Women’s Champions League can also do the same.
The key triggers are:
- 1 OVR Upgrade: The player’s club earns 7 or more points in the next four matches.
- x1 Role+ & 1 base PS: The player achieves one appearance in a win over the next four matches.
- x1 Role++ & 1 base PS: Attackers/Midfielders get one goal or assist in the next four matches. Defenders must achieve one clean sheet or zero yellow/red cards. (Credits: EA Sports)
UECL and Hero Upgrades
The UEFA Conference League (UECL) upgrade path is slightly accelerated. It requires four or more points in the next three matches for a +1 OVR upgrade. The individual performance upgrades apply over the next three matches.
For the FC 26 Primetime Heroes, the path is simplified. They receive a +1 OVR upgrade for two wins in the next four matches. A stronger upgrade (x1 Role++ & 2 base PS) is given if the club scores four goals in the next four League matches.
Live Events and Tournaments
The promotion is supported by new events recreating the real-world drama. So you will be able to live some of the classic football moments. This will be an exciting time, especially for the fans of the golden days of Football.
Chained Tournaments
Players can also expect a few new chained Tournaments. These will feature both the League and Knockout phases.

Showdown and Star Performers
FC 26 Showdown SBCs are returning, inspired by major qualification clashes in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. The Showdown upgrade system has been revamped for Season 2:
- Winning Team: Receives a +2 OVR upgrade.
- Draw: Both players receive a +1 OVR and a x1 Role ++ upgrade.
Furthermore, a new “Star Performer” item will debut in Season 2. After selecting matchweeks, exceptional UEFA performances will be eligible for a Star Performer item. The first release will highlight the most recent UEFA Matchweek and will be available for 48 hours starting Saturday, November 8.
